Chinanteco Huipil Mexican Dress Handmade in Oaxaca Mexico

The Chinanteco Huipil Dress is a handmade piece of art from the San Felipe Usila area of Oaxaca, Mexico commonly known as the Chinanteca region. 

This huipil dress tunic is first handwoven on a backstrap loom before it is then embroidered by hand.  

This unique dress measures approximately 26.5 inches across (armpit to armpit) and is about 36 inches long (from shoulder to hem).
